"Check-in funktioniert leider nicht wie geplant, auf die von Expedia empfohlene Kontaktaufnahme erfolgte keine Reaktion. Ab 16:00 soll der Check-in vor Ort möglich sein. Gegen 16:15 war niemand erreichbar, die ausgehängte Telefonnummer wurde zwei Mal zu einem Anrufbeantworter weitergeleitet und der Call-Knopf am Tresor lief ins Leere. Im Rückruf würde mir erklärt, dass jemand im Gastraum ist, der war jedoch noch verschlossen. Danach erschien man dann doch zum Check-in"

"Staff is super friendly and flexible; it is a family owned and run business; they make you feel part of the family; town is super cute and one of the examples of "Fachwerk" houses I have seen in Germany. Also steeped in history. The castle was a seat of one of the most important rulers of Germany. Definitely worth a visit and overnight stay. Great dinner options in the old town center."

"Immaculately presented, spacious apartment. Extremely clean. Generous breakfast. Good facilities. We had difficult using the self check in system but phoned the help number and someone came very quickly, sorted it all out and gave us two beers too! Family run business. "

"Es war im grossen und ganzen angenehm. Sehr sauber, hübsch eingerichtet und gepflegt - jedoch die Matratzen viel zu weich, so richtig durchgelegen. Die Kissen zu dünn und zu klein. Frühstück war sehr gut und der Service auch. Wir sind ausserhalb der Öffnungszeit angekommen und haben eine rechte Zeit gewartet, bis jemand gekommen ist, um uns reinzulassen. "The ATLANTIC Hotel was exactly what I was looking for! An upscale hotel near the Heidelberg Main Train Station, which had a cafe and an excellent restaurant. I was worried about train noise, but never heard a thing. It was like watching a silent movie. The Local Bus Stop was a few hundred feet from the hotel entrance, behind the tourist information building. The tourist office even sells tickets to Heidelberg Castle and the Funicular to get up and back. Very convenient! Took the bus to the University Plaza and the Funicular was at the end of the street. Decided to take an Uber back to hotel for less than $10. The Atlantic Hotel is basically a 5 star hotel with a 3 star price. "
