"I love the location and the room. The staff at the desk were excellent for checking in and advice on restaurants in the area. The bar staff were rude and standoffish as they ignored me and refused to change the channel on the tv when no one was watching it. "A beautiful hotel in an ideal location in a gorgeous small city filled with cultural wonders. My room, in the older part of the hotel, was elegant and spacious. Front desk and cleaning staff were unfailingly helpful. I would return without question. My only recommendation to the house is to consider a new mattress for the room. It had become a bit…topographical."

"Rooms need either air conditioning or better ceiling fans. When it gets hot, there is no way to get proper airflow. If you open the windows, the insects will come inside your room. Please also add a microwave to the rooms. Shower was clogged with hair and the water could not evacuate. I had to unclog the shower otherwise the water level would have risen and gone into the bedroom area."
