Mt.Shasta siesta
The room was generous, clean, comfortable. I would stay there again. I was skeptical about the claim that you could see Mt Shasta from the hotel but it was true. Thanks for helping make our trip as effortless as possible.

we'll be back
as always, this motel is reasonably priced, clean, quiet and near our favorite mountain, Mt Shasta, which is in view at the motel. the same people greet us there as it has been for many years. we'll be back.

Do not recommend.
First I was greeted at the check in desk door by a growling large dog. The air conditioning did not cool and it was 90 degrees outside. the tv remote did not work (only turned the tv on and off). website says coffee maker in the room, there is but no coffee or cups. front desk said we had to come down there for coffee in the morning. Bed sheets were lumpy and mattress was not comfortable. There was no soap, only an empty package! And 1 bottle of shampoo. Food was discovered on the floor by our dog. He likes to bring things he knows he’s not supposed to eat directly to us. I do not recommend this place for the price. It’s not that cheap.

Could be great. Needs some updating. Area cleaned. Biggest issue was the drug dealer in parking lot going to rooms all evening. And the prostitutes. Not cool.

Old property that's never been updated.Dirty inside and out with worn furnishings from the 1970s. Unpleasant manager, yet somehow they can charge $100 a night mid-week. Starbucks and McDonalds next door.

This was a last-minute booking for us on our way to Oregon. Overall it was a great place to stop and rest. Fast food and Gas stations are readily available. The owner woke up around 1 AM to check us in. Beautiful location with Mt Shasta as a backdrop.

The main problem is that the building is very old, they need a lot of work, refurnish all the rooms, it is not clean. It smell like fish, I did not feel safe and it looks dirty. The bottle of shampoo was empty, the towels yellow and old. the most scary was the old paintings on the room, we couldn't sleep well. My kids were very scared all the time

This place was filthy! The floors looked like they had not been cleaned in years. The tv didn’t work, the ac window unit was covered in dust, no soap, the whole building is in total disrepair and worst of all the room smelled like pickles???

I’m not sure how this place has a 7.6/10. Our room had really dirty walls, stinky carpet, mildew around the tub. I’ve stayed in worse but the condition of the room gave me the “ick” feeling for sure.

Great bang for the buck. We needed a place to crash while passing through with a large group and the price was right. The cleanliness was definitely lacking. The rooms are extremely dated and could use an update/facelift. The gal at the front desk was pleasant to deal with.

Good value for the price. Nicer than a lot of motels, not as fancy as more expensive hotels like Comfort Inn or Best Western. Some of the amenities were not great (e.g., bed/mattress, personal hygiene products, soundproofing, etc.), but satisfactory for a one-night stay. 🏨

Room was clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee to make in it. Bed was….interesting. Every time my partner rolled over the whole bed shook and I’m a light sleeper so that wasn’t the greatest. In the morning the bathroom smelled like cigarettes but my partner didn’t notice that. You get what you pay for-for 90 bucks just basically to sleep on our way to San Diego it wasn’t too bad.

Wet hallway. Heater not working. On/off switch drawn with a sharpie. Loud, boozy party across the hall. We saw our room, did a U-turn, and left.
