"From the moment I arrived, I knew this would be a unique (in the best way) experience. There is no grand entrance or elaborate lobby, but the building itself is impressive and fits naturally into its park setting. The location does mean there are no restaurants or conveniences within walking distance. They make up for that lack with ample trails to get your heartbeat up. "Redmond Inn is in a very convenient location and despite being close to the freeway and a major road it is surprisingly quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. The included breakfast featured very good coffee (so important!) and the continental breakfast offerings were fairly standard. The waffles were OK. "Rooms were acceptably clean. The shower would not drain so the desk sent a tech over to address the problem which he did and fixed the issue. Everything about the stay was ok. Nothing exceptional, nothing bad. It was the most typical and normal hotel stay possible. 3 stars."

"I didn't care for how the bed was made with one gigantic sheet and two huge pillow like comforters, one on either side of the bed. I also didn't care for the overly complicated coffeemaker. Both of these are extremely minor nitpicks, my problem is ultimately that I think I probably ended up paying more for these unnecessary and strange flourishes."
