The Waterworks - a nice little souverir shop inside. The Waterworks is located 15 minutes from Coromandel Town. This small village, population about 1000 is situated in the Coromandel region, three hours from Auckland by car, and an hour from Thames. It's a fun and friendly town with a remarkably vibrant arts and crafts community, concerts, drama group, schools, cafés, and restaurants.
