"Everything was fabulous"

"Breakfast was fine. Our bathtub had a big area of dried soggy soap residue on the ledge. So I imagine the tub wasn’t cleaned. Never saw the pool. The stairs to the second level in our room was VERY steep. The bed setup was great otherwise to sleep 6. Check out was 10am and our child had a competition until 11am so that was very inconvenient. $75 per hour for late check out. No thanks. I don’t know why they have such an early checkout. "Room was fine, bathroom was nice. Only there one night on a 40 dgree rainy day, so no amenities used per say. The 1st assigned room had a beeping smoke detector, so we needed to change room. Booked a "Riverview" room...nice enough, but the river is really a creek and there is a road on the other side, so there was still some traffic noise. Breakfast was good."

"Loved the historical significance and serenity! Beautiful location and they have a nice bar, restaurant and pool. The lobby is very welcoming and when they don’t serve breakfast in the dining room they put out a simple but nice take it with you treat of yogurt and fruit, juice and bagels. You really have everything you need there. Golfers will have something to do as well, there is a 9 hole course on the property. "The pool and hot tub were under renovation when we were there. The contractor was there early in the morning working on the pool and hot tub on the weekend that we were there and this was noisy."
