"Upon arrival the rooms smelled stale and the refrigerator made a very loud sound. I wanted to shower after a long drive from NYC and there was no hot water. I called down to reception and the concierge said “oh, sorry! I forgot to tell you there won’t be hot water”. He couldn’t even tell me when it would be back on. The queen size beds are actually full size but they are comfy so there’s that. Lastly, I came back from a hike to get ready for a wedding and there was no power. I had to get ready...

"Breakfast was fine. Our bathtub had a big area of dried soggy soap residue on the ledge. So I imagine the tub wasn’t cleaned. Never saw the pool. The stairs to the second level in our room was VERY steep. The bed setup was great otherwise to sleep 6. Check out was 10am and our child had a competition until 11am so that was very inconvenient. $75 per hour for late check out. No thanks. I don’t know why they have such an early checkout. We were going to have lunch at their restaurant before...

"The room was very clean but there was no single lounge chair in the room, only a desk chair...very difficult for two people to put up with. A hassock under the counter serves no use when it is not accompanied by a chair to sit on. As a New England location, this is the very first hotel that does not carry NESN, the home of the Boston Red Sox. The microwave in room 126 did not work. Your complimentary breakfast is excellent."

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Glen House Hotel. I booked through a third-party site and check-in was still super easy. The staff was friendly and really helpful. The warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in were such a nice touch! The bed was also surprisingly comfortable - always a win when staying at a hotel. The views are absolutely beautiful, there was plenty of parking, and everything just felt easy and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again."

"The pool and hot tub were under renovation when we were there. The contractor was there early in the morning working on the pool and hot tub on the weekend that we were there and this was noisy."
