"Property is still in good condition after renovations a few years' ago, staff is quite friendly and helpful. Location was very acceptable- only a half mile from bus and ferry stops into Norfolk etc, with numerous fast food outlets and a large convenience store within a short walking distance. Hotel is generally quiet as is the neighborhood. Lots of incredible historic homes and churches nearby to admire. Room had all the items I needed to feel at home- microwave and mini-fridge."

"The stay was good. Me and wife wanted to get away. This was what we needed. At checking in was a little problem but the manager was very helpful. My room was $145.50 for 2 nights. But for all the mistakes. They charge us only $98.00 So I'm waiting on $47.50. That's the difference. Thanks for everything. "

"Abandoned a crime hotel down the street to stay here. Check in was easy. Desk clerk was nice and explained that they have a Zero Tolerance policy against “Problem Guests” Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. A few restaurants nearby, but not very walkable. "
