"The morning market is steps outside the hotel which was a sight to see and experience. Location is perfect and close to everything in Luang Prabang. The hotel met our needs and was quaint. Hotel staff was friend and very accommodating!"
"We absolutely loved our stay at The sanctuary.
We were upgraded to a suite and the room was perfect with traditional style wood throughout.
The breakfast was so good, a great choice and good coffee with lots to choose from.
The pool was a lovely place to cool off after a hot day sight seeing and I can recommend a visit to their spa for a massage and facial .
Lastly the staff are so tentative, kind and more than happy to help with anything you require.

"Wonderful boutique hotel nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Secret garden vibes and a great getaway while in Luang Prabang. It’s colonial style so don’t expect all the modern amenities although I do wish there were gym facilities. I do highly recommend!"

It is the previous French Governors mansion that was converted to 20+ room resort with bunnies and other fauna roaming the grounds. Villa Maly is a fantastic Boutique hotel, with beautiful rooms and facilities and such a great place to unwind and relax.
The hotel is handy and convenient in a central location and walkable or a short taxi trip to the main shops, restaurants and the river.
The rooms, whilst slightly smaller than you'd get in a 'modern' hotel are well equipped, clean and very nicely presented.
The pool is awesome if you're visiting Luang Prabang when the weather is hot. A quick swim followed by a drink from the bar is the perfect way to wind down and chill out. "
