The staff were really friendly and informative about places around the hotel. When we first got to the hotel room it smelled of crab. Our dead bolt also did not work. There was also only two towels and there was two guests staying in this room. The carpet was not vacuumed or cleaned there was chip crumbs on the carpet. Very disappointing. After we used our only towels, the front desk informed us that they were out of towels. When we received our towels there was stains on the towels.

Checked in and went to the second floor where my room was and it smelled like someone peed over all the carpets. It was pungent and made me gag walking through it. Then the room smelled like someone had been smoking in and then a fish died. There was an old blood stain on my sheets along with brown marks. The shower clogged and the toilet was unflushed. Over all a very poor experience.

The staff was great. We arrived late and they allowed our child to swim for 30 minutes later than was allowed. The people above us were very noisy until 1:30 am and woke us up at 5:00. I notified the staff and it didn’t help. The fridge didn’t work well and the TV didn’t work until I unplugged everything to reset all of it. Overall, could have been much better.

Fix your Hotel!!! Dirty, dirty, dirty!!! The pool was very cloudy so we didn't swim, the tile in our bathroom was litterally was moving not a fixed to the floor, barely any grout was in between the tile, it was nothing like the photos, more is the rating correct!!! We had to pay a separate deposit to a separate company other than the hotel!!! Sketchy asf!!! It just all around was horrible!!! Also while we were checking in a man came back down from the room he just checked into, and the maids hadn't touched anything!!! The beds were a mess and the towels were in a pile on the floor, the maids completely missed the room he was suppose to check into!!! Had we walked into that they would have been refunding my money stat!!! So please avoid at all costs, Airb&b a little lake house so you don't go thru this trauma!!!!!

It is a pet friendly place but, we got flea bites and the carpets smelled like pee. Also, there were candy wrappers all over the floor when we checked in. We had to go get towels a few times cause they didnt leave any. Also, one time when we went to get bath towels they gave us swimming towels which are much smaller.

Place needed repairs. Lobby smelled like sewer backup when you walked in. Bathroom tile grouting was broken and needed replaced. Could not get towels except for pool towels and they were like using sandpaper to dry off.

Power outage on the morning og the first night due to wide spread outage. Staff were friendly & helpful overall. It was a comfortable stay during a busy softball tournament time. Breakfast was good with a nice variety.

I had 2 reservations, and 1 was canceled without my knowledge. I was not aware the hotel canceled 1 of the rooms until I was checking in at 10pm. Had to wait 45 mins to get another room. When I got a new room, the air conditioning was broke and room was over 100 degrees. It was 86 degrees outside at the time. I asked for another room and woman told me they need to spray Febreze on the carpet to get rid of the smell. Also, the other room we had, no water in the bathroom since and little water pressure in the shower. There were two other people that could not get in their room for over an hour. The lock was broke. Never had such a bad experience ever and I travel a lot. The cancelling of the room w/o my knowledge ticked me off. I had 8 people traveling with me and that is 100% unacceptable!

The best thing about the room was it was a very comfortable King Bed. The room was just basic and the check-in process was a nightmare. Would not stay there again! Should be called Best Western Minus - not Plus.

Fridge didnt work. No linen for sofabed. No extra toilet paper in room. Public bathroom was very dirty both mens and womens. Called for linen and was ignored while they answered another call and never came back to my call as I listened to them hang up with the call after me. Elevator was always wet on the ground. Chargers didnt work on table.

The positive: good size room, mini fridge and microwave in room are very convenient, location is near stores, food,etc. The negative: beds are hard, the tub had a clog and when showering it backed up quite a bit. Was given 2 large towels for a 3 day stay and when I called to request more, the front desk staff told me we had to go down front to get more. Apparently, they don't have much staff on site. Not a huge deal but inconvenient to say the least.

It was fairly nice in the room. Upon arrival i noticed the lanscaping had lots of weeds. Parking lot was a little beat up. Pool was nice. Once in the room it was nice. But one of the hand towels in the bathroom had not been changed since the previous visitor. You could see someone wiped off blue toothpaste onto the towel that was neatly hanging on the bar. Also i found a dirty Q-tip between the wall and night stand when I was looking for a plug in. I found it behind the head board and no cover on it. WhenIi found the receptacle,

It was ok. Staff was friendly. Room and building was very smelly. Carpets dirty. Backdoors unlocked without safety measures. Microwave timer broken so it won’t shut off on its own. It was ok but won’t rebook in the future.
