"We travel 16 hours from Houston to Iowa a few times a year. The Hampton at the Kansas Star is a perfect half-way stop to relax, recharge and get ready for the 2nd half of the drive. "The motel was rather old but was clean, the breakfast was nothing special but they did offer biscuits and gravy, cereal, honey buns, yogurt, coffee ,juice. I didn’t see any eggs but maybe I just missed them. We would stay there again."

"We had a super late check-in and was desperate to stay by I-35. This is about a mile away from highway, very close to Wichita State U. Free breakfast with an assortment of breakfast options; both and hot and amazing service. Super clean and the rooms were very neat which was hard to find. We travelled as a family. Parking was right by the front and free also. Would highly recommend!! "

"Came into town for the music festival and had a lovely stay. Front desk staff was efficient and friendly when we arrived. You do have to drive around back to access the elevator without going down a few stairs, but we were lucky that our room faced the backside, which is where we parked to have viewing access from our window.
