"Nice older property, well maintained. Great, clean pool. Room was spacious and had lots of towels, including pool towels, and a fridge/ microwave. Staff was so helpful and kind. It's deep summertime and I appreciate the fantastic room rate. There was little staff onsite and no need for it but it does feel a little isolated when you are almost the only folks at the location. But I enjoyed the peace and hope to come back in winter time."

"This is our second time staying at this property we love historical boutique hotels this is one of them you must be into historical hotels there's not a lot of amenities or TV or any of those things this is if you want to be transported back into history and you enjoy that and you like that very Boutique small town feel like you're being transported back into the 1900s then I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for fancy service Etc then maybe this might not be for you however we will be returning we love this area Julian and we like the hotel and we were treated very nicely and we will be returning"

"This is my second time staying at this beautiful property. I love the Tranquility room, it is spacious, comfortable and on the first level, with direct access to the great deck overlooking their great views. We love that is pet friendly, their kitchen is very well stocked with them providing coffee, creamer, eggs and toast (for you to make, there is no staff at property) for guest use. My biggest and only complaint is the a/c unit, they have an old school window unit and sure wish they would upgrade to a mini split, current unit is quite loud and right by bed, it has a tendency to keep me awake or wake me pretty often, property is still worth 5 stars but I hope in the future they make the change. We will probably still be back whenever possible, thank you Tucker Lodge."
