"Brilliant stay here.. beautiful country location but close to the town. The ladies who greeted us and looked after us were friendly, accommodating and just genuinely great people. Wish we could have stayed longer! Hope we will be back"

"Nice quiet pub setting, we had a meal each night and a breakfast each day and could not complain about anything, short walk to the rooms, helpful staff and good beer!"

"Air conditioned! A big relief as visiting during a heatwave. Very comfortable. Good position, close to the centre of Bournemouth but far enough away to be quiet away from the hustle. 5 minutes walk to restaurants and 5-10 minutes walk to the beach.
Nice big reception area, plenty of seats, relaxed atmosphere.
Had a twin room. Everything that was required. In room 428, nice view of the sea from the floor to ceiling window. Good size bathroom with shower, no bath, but that was fine with me. 428 was interconnecting room so was a bit worried about noise coming from next door. Luckily during my visit, didn't hear anything. Maybe there was just no one there!
Comfy bed, slept very well, room was perfect temperature thanks to the air con.
Breakfast was great, decent choice, even a waffle maker, producing a nice, big fluffy waffle. Usual cooked choice, cereals, fruit. Something for all. Again, nice relaxed atmosphere.
No restaurant but they were serving curries and pizzas. I saw a pizza being served, looked good.
Really can't think of any negatives to our stay. Would highly recommend if staying in Bournemouth."
"Hotel was in a great location for getting out and about to explore Bournemouth. Hotel had a sense of faded grandure, A charge was added for the use of the pool with a non working jacuzzi. The breakfast could have had a bit more choice, The best asset were the staff who we're friendly helpful and thoughtful ."
"Great location, very nice and helpful staff. The hotel is a bit outdated but it was great for our stay as a family of 4 for a short break. I would use it again. The common areas might benefit from a deep clean but the room was clean. Breakfast was quite basic but fresh. I would add non-diary milk options."
"Obviously this is a more old fashioned hotel but the pool was lovely and the room was spacious and clean although with a strong, funny smell. Unfortunately we were there on the hottest day of the year and the rooms were extremely hot with no fans. We couldn’t get all of the windows open - I think one was jammed shut. Staff were generally helpful and friendly although I had to constantly ask the waitress for basic things like butter, marmalade etc at breakfast as they weren’t brought to us. The other waitresses/waiters did seem much friendlier/more efficient. Having said that it was very hot for the staff to have to work in."
"The staff were very helpful. The hotel was nice and so its amenities like the pool, sauna, and steam room. They were very well maintained. The view of the town from our room was amazing, I just wished the door to the balcony could be opened. The room was very well equipped with everything that one will need during their stay and it was a plus that they have in-room breakfast service option if you don’t want to come down."
"Room was very clean and everything was so good. The room was modern with a gorgeous bathroom too. It was good to see a TV that had Netflix and YouTube and the view from the window was incredible of the garden. Highly recommend this place! Spa facilities were also amazing, make sure to contact about treatments prior to going though!"
"Lovely hotel right on the sea front and close to the Weymouth Pavilion where we had tickets for Jools Holland. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and super shower in the private bathroom. Staff are really helpful and the breakfast was great. Will definitely return and cannot recommend it enough!"
"In general a lovely experience however if you want breakfast and haven’t booked it as part of the room make sure it order it when you check in for all the nights you are there. It’s also cheaper.
Unfortunately we only wanted it for the second morning and went to book it the night before only to be told we couldn’t, we weren’t told that by reception staff when we checked in that you had to book for all the nights you were staying. Consequently they missed out on our money which we spent elsewhere."
