"A surprising find and well worth staying here in a quiet cul de sac. Not far from Tauranga central and other amenities. The owners were great and helped us navigate the area. Breakfast was more than ample, quite a feast."

"Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. "One of the best places i have stayed in New Zealand! Staff were amazing and very friendly. The best mattress - a proper mattress- ive had during my trip. The mattress was soft enough, not like a board, a full sized queen (not two singles pushed together) and was lower to the ground. Bathroom clean and tidy. Nice thick towels. "Called Homestead for a good reason lovely B&B set in countryside surrounded by cattle and friendly Alpacas we loved it. Staff very helpful, breakfasts in room tasty and adequate."

"Do not stay here! This is terrible lodging accommodation above a pub! It's very outdated old and does not feel clean. Had a ensuite room and for the money I paid was very disappointing. When it said oh this is a pub the music isn't loud yiu won't here it. I could hear the music if it was in my room after midnight the music finally turned off! This should be advertised that this is a noisy pub!"
