"We stayed here on our way back to NY from TN. Check-in was seamless, even upgraded our room from 2 queen beds to a king with no additional charge. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Restaurant within walking distance was great, if you like Mexican. This will be our stop for future travels."
"We really enjoyed that with two dogs we could be put in an area that didn’t experience a ton of foot or car traffic. As a result we enjoyed a quiet night without 2 am barking. This had happened to us at the last motel we stayed in as people were arriving at all hours of the night or driving thru the parking lot to get to an apartment complex located in same driveway! So if you have dogs that are on high alert, ask to stay in the far side of the parking lot. Much quieter"
"I checked in to the hotel at 10pm after driving 10 hours from Massachusetts on the way to Charlotte...front desk guy was great...room nice and clean...but sounded like the highway was outside in the parking lot...and then when the AC turned on every 15 or so minutes it sounded like tractor trailers were in the room...I could never fall asleep and got up and left at 2:15 a.m to continue the drive....if staying here make sure you are not in an even #'d room....was a complete waste of money and I was charged $50 for a dog"
Holiday Inn Express Woodstock-Shenandoah Valley by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Food was great. Room was ok. But we didnt have any internet access. Our room was a black hole. The room next had internet. But not us. They gave us a number to a tech guy but after an hour there was still no solution. We were not offered a different room until we complained at check-out to a different staff member.. too little.. too late"
"Breakfast was below average with limited choices even for a continental breakfast. Bathroom was not 100% clean
Did not have the same experience as my previous stay. Could definitely see the desire to cut operating costs in action.
Probably will not stay here again"
