"Clean room and great breakfast"

"This is a truly unique hotel. It was beautifully, renovated, spacious, super clean, and very convenient for exploring Marshall. The restaurant was good, and it was very relaxing sitting on the deck and listening to the river. The unit was nicely equipped. The only difficulty we had was getting a hold of anyone for questions when we arrived. The phone number in the binder did not answer our call nor reply to text message. I did see a very helpful employee cleaning the next day who answered...

"Everything about the hotel was great. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and beds were comfortable. The shower was pretty slick which caused my Mom to fall, so be careful with that. The breakfast was really good. The REALLy big problem was the reservation I had through Expedia was not actually booked, so I had no room when I got there at 11:30 PM. Luckily, they had 1 room left and we were able to book that room for the night."

"When we got in the room it appeared to be clean. We were on the first floor in room 101. The window was unlocked which was unsettling. We got over that and then there were worms of some sort that were coming in under the door. We will not be staying there again."

"I would consider this to be a minimalist hotel style. Austerity is the key word. The king bed was the hardest I have ever slept on. The view from our hotel was exceptional. Paying $4 for a cafe americano that was tepid with no refill is ridiculous. It took 45 minutes to get served, and 45 minutes to finally get the attention of the waiter to pay the bill. The car jockeys were great at their job as was the front desk staff. I’d recommend the hotel for location and view, but not the wait staff in...

"The hotel was super clean. It was spotless!! Very comfortable bed and lovely, spacious room. Coffee and tea were available throughout the day. Both were great. Location was only 6 minutes from downtown Asheville."

"Spacious room, despite the road noise. This room has a large balcony patio but no furniture to even enjoy it. The pull out couch is not what you may expect not a true pull out with mattress more of a foldout onto the floor. Upon check in we were told housekeeping every other day, but apparently that starts after 3 nights of stay??? Family of 4 in a room means you will likely run out of things and trash will accumulate. Seems like staff doesn’t really truly know housekeeping policy. Otherwise...
