Comfortable stay near Edinburgh

"The Craigie had the best breakfast of anywhere we stayed during our trip to Great Britain. The room was plenty big for our family and had modern amenities. It was convenient for daily excursions to Edinburgh. It was also nice to have a big car park since we had rented a car for our trip. We would stay here again!"

"Our room was clean and comfortable - very charming. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved the quaint atmosphere - the meals in the gastropub were very tasty. The only concern we had is that the bed was a little too hard for us and the pillows too soft - but features like that are very subjective so that might not be a problem for you! The Inn is situated on a main road so can get very busy at times. Our room did overlook the road but once the window was closed and blinds drawn it was quieter. Again, didn’t bother us but something to keep in mind if you need peace & quiet. All in all a lovely place to spend a few nights and/or a lovely meal "

I'll stay at this Melrose hotel again.

"Everything was good at the hotel, the facilities in the room, nice tea tray, spotless bathroom good shower with easy temperature and flow controls (no problem with wet hands), bed really comfortable. Dinner and breakfast excellent quality food, plenty of choice and service efficient. All staff encountered were courteous and attentive. "
