"The rooms are a bit run down with bathroom facilities and lighting that are still in the 70s. The hotel says has a wellness center with pool, but this is an overstatement. The pool is maybe 10 mt long, the sauna is ok, the changing room is something between a storage room and a doctor's. the restaurant is ok, but nothing special with the waiting staff that could be more friendly "

"Very cute little hotel, spacious rooms, lovely decor, and friendly staff. Only two downsides, one, our fridge didn't work and two, the restaurant in the hotel is so popular that it makes parking in the evenings a bit difficult."

"The hotel is perfectly located at the top of the town, just a few minutes’ walk from the Black Forest hiking trail. The rooms offer beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. The owner, Ingolf, truly cares about sustainability and has decorated the hotel with this in mind, while still staying true to its original character. Ingolf is an exceptionally kind and welcoming host. When he learned that my wife is a designer, he personally showed us details around the hotel that might be of interest,...

"it is in a quite village. The staffs are super friendly and tried hard to help. The room has a nice view. If you are not an early bird, the 530am church bells might be an issue."

"Our stay was three days, the staff were friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived. The pool and spa areas were superb, and having Black Forest Gateaux with a pot of tea by the pool was not something we expected to be able to do - but very memorable. The breakfast was epic, it’s plain to see how very proud the chefs are, and this is reflected in the quality and range of breakfast items available. We had guest e bikes (at no charge) we explored the local forest area, this made the hills very easy to navigate - the bikes were of excellent quality. "

"We had a lovely stay in a family suite. Spacious and modern. We would have liked a balcony, however. The beds were comfortable enough, the internet worked great, even when we had several devices connected. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet doesn't have loads of choice, but is tasty. The evening meals are the same. A small amount of options and small portions, but delicious. The pools are great and the pool area is clean, with complimentary tea, coffee and water to drink. The walks around the hotel reward you with stunning views."
