"Very enjoyable and relaxing stay on Mövenpick resort Petra. Only 2 mins from hotel to the Petra visit centre. Many choices for both of breakfast and dinner buffet. I want to especially thanks to the Mohammed served for dinner at Sayara. He saw I get sunburnt, he suggested and gave me some yogurt to cool down during night. I would love to come back Movenpick someday. The pastry is superb! "

"The hotel was quite nice. There was great views of the surrounding area. The breakfast was typical of all of the other hotels I stayed at on my trip. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had a lot of hard water/mildew around the base of the shower. The hotel would be exceptional if they would just bleach the bathroom. Other than that is was very nice. I would definitely stay there again."

"A great hotel very close to the main entrance to the Petra archeological park. A very clean hotel with updated rooms, a really nice shower and a great lobby. The gentleman at the front desk was super willing to help me convert my USD to JOD and help me book tickets to the Petra at Night experience. There are multiple restaurants, shops and souvenir stores within an easy walking distance to the hotel. The only "bad" thing is that it seems like the walls of the rooms are a little thin so I was...

"The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The room did not have chair at desk, but when I asked about this one was brought to my room at once. The owner and staff were very friendly, helpful, and nice! Great location, Petra, museum, eating, drinking, etc. all walkable. Breakfast included was fine too. There is also a roof which is a great place to take sunset pictures over Petra."

Candles Hotel
3.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (187)
"Horrible! Stay somewhere else, don’t be fooled by the smart looking building facade and tidy internal areas as sadly the rooms aren’t as loved. The room smelt horrible, had crystallised damp on the walls, a dirty bathroom (especially the shower curtain), electric wires exposed on appliances and overall of a general poor standard. Breakfast choices were extremely limited and questionable hygiene levels. The only good thing was its location to Petra entrance and free car parking. Worse...
