The staff were great, friendly and responsive. Room was not the best though. Mattress was too hard and uncomfortable, the cleaners took away my shower curtain (don't know why) and did not replace, so water from showering went everywhere. aided by a loose fitting for the shower head - which the staff were aware of but did not fix or move me to another room - however I did not ask to be moved in any case. Power point in room was already burnt out so could not be used. When asked to extend my checkout time I was told this would at an additional cost - however later that night the manager informed me there would be no charge.

Very comfortable hotel in a great position. Staff were very helpful. Only negative for me was that i had a shower over the bath, and no shower screen. Water went everywhere. Nice big rooms with mountain and sea views

Not a 4 star, maybe in Asian market but not in world market. Good staff, hotel needs attention to what is required for 4 star. A weighing scales in room may be tick in the box for star rating, but worn bed covers, no mattresses for pool chairs, all 3 of their pool umbrellas broken, no pool side towels until asked for, certainly is not part of a box ticking exercise. Management need to support their positive staff with investment to pay attention to details of signs of wear and tare. Could be really good, but needs attention

Good check-in and porter staff, but .........

Well located hotel and very professional check-in staff and porters. But the housekeeping was very poor, and could not get room cleaned one day at all. Rooms are very tired and badly need maintenance with bathroom and aircon needing updating (or just basic repairs! Does not warrant its own 4 star rating. More a tired 3 star hotel.

Three Night Stay

The hotel was very pleasant to stay in. The room was very comfortable and cleaned to a good standard, air con worked well and internet was good. The staff on reception were very helpful and always provided assistance when asked. The location is near the beach, however this is only a small one and you will need to take a taxi (around 80,000 Dong) to the main beach area. There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance and some shops nearby. The location is in a side road, so no noise from traffic

Definitely Not a Pleasant Stay

Areas for improvement: - Hotel reception staff was not honest about hotel condition when asked, saying that it was built 5 years ago but i think it looked more like a 30 years old hotel. In overall, the hotel look 'very' dated and furnishing in room is not in good condition. Staffs has limited command of english, please be patient with them or slowdown when conversing with them. - Hotel reception also tend to 'keep' your passport without informing you. Don't be surprised! Anyway, pls insist to only let reception keeps a photocopy instead of letting them to have the original copy for the whole duration of your stay. They unwillingly relented after i insisted which didn't make it a pleasant experience for me. - Had worst experience with the Laren Spa at ground floor of the hotel, part of the Muong Thanh hotel offered services. Massage service is extremely poor where i actually think the masseurs do not what massage is all about. Please do not waste your $ with this outlet. Any massage outlet in Bangkok is easily 10 times better than this one. - Hotel doesn't provide iron/ironing board. Therefore, you might want to skip this hotel if you are travel on business and has any shirts to be ironed. Commendable items: - Breakfast was ok with plenty of tasty options. At least, i liked the b/fast served every morning. - Hotel is very near to beachfront, less than 3 mins walk to beachfront.

Great hotel with very friendly and polite staff!

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Check-in/out was very fast and hassle-free. The room is very spacious and quiet and also offers a nice view of the area. The room and bathroom are very clean and the restaurant on the 1st floor offers great prices.

Attractive modern hotel

Nice, modern hotel, good breakfast buffet, helpful staff. We stayed there just before Vietnamese New Year so things were pretty quiet. We didn't realize that the water taxi service would be down for the holidays, and getting between Vung Tau and Saigon airport by taxi takes 2 to 2.5 hours.

Very much a hotel with a local feel from large open spaces of unclear design to a rather perfunctory pool but.very friendly staff who tried hard to help.

Had an excellent stay. The hotel Staff Mr Tri Nguyen are amazing and helped make our stay in Vung Tao even more enjoyable, i cannot praise him enough !!! Hotel managament should promote him as superviser or manager .He can speak and understand well in English

They double charged me

After booking and playing on hotels.com, I was told at the front desk that hotels.com just took my reservation and did not charge me, so they asked for payment which I paid. Later I checked my bank statement and found that I had indeed been charged twice. Hotels.com blame the hotel however after 1 week of waiting they say they can't get the hotel to refund me because of the language barrier. Very disappointed with hotel.com and the hotel over this

On Sunday Last week, we have received email from hotel.com about this problem. After that, we try contact with you and Ms Hai Quynh answer our phone. This problem is our hotel's fault. The total is 277,300vnd. But our cashier charged the wrong amount is 1,192,500vnđ. Once again, we are very sorry about this problem. When you come back the next time, we will upgarde your room and discount your room charge as our apology. The spare money will be deducted on the other arising charges. Excellent Boutique Hotel in Good Location

Good hotel for tourist or businessman. Room is comfortable, clean and the welcome fruit basket is a nice tough.
