"Our stay at Kavalari was amazing from the start. We were received by an exceptional young man, Zani, friendly and so helpful. All of the staff had the same qualities. The breakfast was more than we expected and the view from our balcony was breathtaking!! The location of the hotel is great. You can walk and shop at the various boutiques in Fira, Imerovigli and Firostefani. The hotel is also a short walk to the bus stop, so easy access to transportation for day trips. "We arrived around 11 pm and it was extremely difficult to find the reception. We searched for about 45 minutes. There was nobody in the night to guide us. Finally I went down and then an ice cream shop owner gave directions to go down the steps passing a gate. Also nobody was responding to multiple phone calls. It would have been a lot easier if they had an arrow sign leading to the reception."
