Food is great but room is well below average

Honestly, it’s not the best. Definitely not worth 13k per night. The room’s condition was extremely modest. Reminded me one of those hopin-hop out commercial hotels. The bathroom is all stains and cracks on the walls etc. The bathroom curtain didn’t work and the switch was broken. The staff guy himself struggled to operate it. But the service is really good. A couple of them didn’t know the etiquette but they didn’t seem disrespectful. It’s just that they weren’t trained well.…otherwise very good. Food is FABULOUS. Whoever managing the kitchen, deserves a raise. Overall, it’s ok but unlikely to spend 13k per night for those rooms. Rather come by for lunch/breakfast.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price I stayed here during a weekday visit and was quite underwhelmed. The hotel clearly shows its age—everything from the furniture to the overall ambience feels outdated. While the staff was friendly and helpful, that’s about the only positive I can highlight. The beds were small and not very comfortable, and the bathroom was in poor condition with visible stains and a generally rundown feel. For the price they’re charging—which is at a five-star level—you’d expect much more in terms of comfort and quality. Honestly, it felt more like a 2.5-star experience. Wouldn’t recommend unless they renovate and reprice accordingly.

Novotel Vizag is a great modern hotel. Rooms were clean and staff was fantastic. Special. Shout out to the front desk manager who was very accommodating to all our needs. Even though a very busy hotel, when staff remembers your name, you always feel special. Second shout out to the dining room manager who had an amazing and contagious smile at all times. Ask her to tell you about her hometown Darjaleen, famous for its tea and she beams with pride. Will definetly stay again.
