The owner is awesome and very hands-on. Super tranquil yet lots to do and eat in town. All restaurants are super amazing. An hour train ride into Paris you can't beat it!!!

Gregory has only just taken over but he was the perfect host, very helpful and willing plenty of good advice about the area. Property is stunning, the gardens, pool, tennis court and entrance courtyard - beautiful Chantilly town is quaint with nice restaurants and the Chateau fab. Only downside is the Green room was a little tired and in need of tic. Better routine of cleaning and maybe a declutter but overall a lovely place to stay and easy access to Paris by train

Great place!

Exceptional service, well behaved cute animals, stunningly beautiful place with a very calm setting and a short walk to Chantilly. I don't normally leave reviews but it really stands out, super happy with our stay.

We had a wonderful time, what a unique and lovely place Manoir des Cavaliers is. The pool, the gardens, the breakfast, the room were all lovely. Can't recommend enough.

Great BnB, hosts are very attentive and helpful but very respectful of your space. Wonder breakfasts. 15 minute walk to the Chateau and 15-20 to Chantilly.

We arrived in heavy rain, and the owner, brought out broken umbrellas. He initially said we couldn’t drive up to drop off bags but allowed it in the end because of the weather. The property looked decent at first, but once inside our “best room,” the reality hit hard. The room stank of stale, dirty odours. The bathroom smelled like awful, persistent drain fumes—not just a normal toilet smell. The kettle was filthy, and the water came out cloudy—luckily, I noticed before drinking it. Everything was grimy and thick dust: bed, towels, furniture, even the disposable slippers looked decades old and used. We couldn’t face staying here for even one night and checked out within hours. We booked a 5-star hotel nearby for just £100 more than we paid here—totally worth it. The worst part? The owner ignored all our attempts to communicate—no apology, no explanation, no refund. Expedia tried to help but couldn’t secure one. This kind of customer service is shocking and unacceptable. The charming exterior is worlds apart compared to the filthy, neglected interior. Our anniversary trip was ruined, and we had to scramble for another hotel at extra cost and stress. Hotels don’t need to be fancy—just clean, welcoming, and responsive. This place was none of those. Avoid Manoir des Cavaliers.

Nous avons passé une nuit magnifique au Manoir des Cavaliers ce week-end. Gregory nous a accueillis avec une gentillesse et une simplicité rares, toujours prêt à se plier en quatre pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Ses conseils avisés pour découvrir les restaurants alentours ont été précieux, et nous avons adoré partager avec lui sa passion pour son village et son histoire. Le manoir lui-même est un véritable havre de paix : en cette saison, le jardin aux couleurs d’automne offre une atmosphère chaleureuse, et la grande cheminée rend le lieu encore plus cosy. On imagine déjà revenir aux beaux jours pour profiter de la piscine chauffée et du court de tennis. Un séjour qui allie authenticité, confort et convivialité. Merci Gregory pour ton accueil exceptionnel, nous repartons avec l’envie de revenir très vite !

Un accueil très chaleureux et bienveillant. Une bâtisse magnifique située à 1km du château de Chantilly et très au calme dans le village. Une chambre confortable et cosi. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux.

Des échanges par messages au Check-out en passant par la chambre, tout s’est super bien déroulé. Grand espace privatif, petit déjeuner très copieux, literie très confortable, le tout dans un écrin de verdure et un calme absolu. Il est possible d’accéder au Château de Chantilly ainsi qu’aux restaurants en centre ville à pied. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques, nul doute que je reviendrai.

The hosts were excellent and the property was magnificent. We were accommodated for a 7 am breakfast which we greatly appreciated. We were on a bike trip from Amsterdam to Paris, nearing the end of our trip. It was raining hard while we were there. We toured the stables in Chantilly and walked around the town, but it was expensive for our taste. It didn't help that it was pouring rain the whole time.
