Kid Friendly Hotels in Vila do Bispo

"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"A large modern hotel on the East side of the village with a lovely harbor view, nice outdoor pool ( chilly in early April) and indoor pool and gym. The breakfast is great. Ask for a sea view room. There are several inexpensive decent restaurants just down the street from the Hotel the Vila Velha being the best (more expensive). Walk out on the undeveloped rocky point to big cliffs overlooking the sea and have a picnic. "

"Great location right on ocean cliffs of Algarve. Eat at the resort or better yet walk 10 minutes into town for an abundant choice of restaurants. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, robes and slippers for in room comfort or to walk to the pools (outdoor or indoor). Buffet breakfast more than amazing. Staff friendly and helpful"

"Such a nice area to stay in Carveiro. Only a10 minute walk into town it to the coastal walk. Great breakfast buffet options, more than you can imagine, the hotel was very beautiful and the pool area was spacious, clean and the bar and did options were good. We would definitely recommend this hotel."

Location - it is on the outskirt of the town which means if you don't have a car you're talking 20-30 minutes of walking into town which is made hard since it is downhill and on the way back it is uphill 2. Barely any staff was knowledgeable in English which made it hard to order food/drinks 3.
