Very nice staff, amazing (free!) breakfast with freshly baked bread among a lot of other things (enough options even if you're vegan) and they have three amazing dogs, very cute ducks and other animals. Would 100% recommend.

Mauvais rapport qualité prix

Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cet établissement, à l'arrivée, personne pour nous accueillir. Une lettre nous attend avec le numéro de chambre et quelques banalités. On comprend que l'on doit se déchausser (un sèche chaussures pour de nombreuses paires présentes). Des claquettes en pagaille à disposition. La chambre n'était clairement pas de première jeunesse et mériterait un rafraichissement. Le petit déjeuner laissait à désirer. Tout ça pour dire que sur un séjour de 7 nuits. Cet établissement n'était clairement pas le moins cher et était pourtant loin d'être le meilleur, à tout point de vue.

Light Night in Vik

Wonderful hostel located in a picturesque hillside location. Comfortable rooms and a tasty breakfast. Perfect location with a short walk into the town of Vik and to the tourist sights on offer. Only two bathrooms for all the guests was the only negative comment, which creates a queue in the mornings.

Awesome Hostel

How soon will I be back?

When I arrived, I checked myself in and got acquainted. Like most hostels and guesthouses in Iceland, shoes came off upon entering. My roof was cozy and mostly clean. Not sterile, but clean enough not to be gross. The only room issue was a giant mosquito I found. My two favorite things were 1) the smoked salmon at the breakfast buffet on the freshly baked bread and 2) the building's history. You can look at old pics throughout town and it's still there. So cool! I'll try to be back soon.

Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, no te puedes ni sentar en la litera de arriba. Un solo baño en la planta inferior que lo incorpora todo, olvidate de ducharte. Lo mejor es el desayuno, muy bueno.
