"Hotel Búrfell had incredible views and a scenic location. It was close to Dyrhólaey and only about 15 minutes from Vík, which made it a convenient place to stay while exploring the area. The hotel itself was nothing fancy. The room was very simple, and the bathroom was basic, but it worked well for a short stay. "Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht von der Unterkunft. Das war mit Abstand die schlechteste Unterkunft die wir in unseren 11 Tagen Island hatten und wir waren zum glück nur eine nacht dort. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Die ganze Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen und die Bäder sind zwar sauber aber abgesehen davon eine Zumutung..."

"There was no staff at the property and no one answered the phone when I tried contacting them regarding a problem. Their lobby sign said to use the phone they provided to call but there was NO PHONE. To top it off, the next day our room was double booked and I had to help those people to figure out how to call them. They actually spoke to someone though."
