Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property within walking distance to the palace through the park and gardens. Many local places to eat and enjoy the flavors of Vienna"

"Great location. Just be aware that not all rooms are accessible by elevators. We had a half staircase to access our room."

Austria Trend Hotel Savoyen Vienna

"We are on a multiweek tour through Europe and this was a lovely find. We recently stayed 4 nights. The hotel is tastefully decorated, well organized, and the staff was wonderful. It even smelled nice throughout the property. We did not try any of the amenities, so I cannot comment on those. Location wise, it is great. There are plenty of places to eat and do some quick shopping in the immediate area. It is very close to tram and bus stops, and the neighborhood felt clean and safe even after dark. Bonus for us, it had a min fridge. With a teen in the party, we have a tendency to have food and drink stashed everywhere:) If you want to be in the middle of the main tourist areas, this may not be the best location. However, most attractions are only a short tram or bus ride away. We reserved a Superior room and it was very spacious, with two twin beds. After a couple of smaller hotel stays elsewhere on this trip, the extra space was much appreciated. The room was very quiet only every once in a while heard people above us and I think that was actually housekeeping vacuuming. My only complaint is the shower/tub combination (see photo). The tub has a very high step in and an equally high step out. I am 5'8" and found it surprisingly awkward and a little concerning. My daughter is 5'2" and a teen, and felt the same way. Neither of us has mobility issues, but we both thought a fall could easily result in an injury. We woulf stay again and recommend to others!"

Ruby Marie Hotel Vienna by IHG
8/10 Good
"For the price, this place is hard to beat. For the cons: The in-room closet space sucks and there’s no mini refrigerator, but they have a galley where you can buy cold water and snacks. I’d advise you to bring a clothes steamer, otherwise you’ll be using the “community iron” on the 3rd floor. The layout is also confusing and off putting. Reception is on the 5th floor so instead of human beings your greeted by an elevator when you enter the building. You’ll never get used to where your room is as the hallways are dimly lit and break off into random directions. The hotel also doesn’t have much of a view to speak of. They have a terrace behind the bar but, you’re looking into the backs of other people’s apartments. Now onto the pro’s: The rooms are clean and comfortable and come with a little Marshall Bluetooth speaker that has bass and treble controls! Their soaps and conditioners smell amazing( to me anyway) The bed is a single mattress, not that weird split down the middle thing they love in Europe for some reason. The staff are cool and very helpful You have several good places to eat in the immediate surrounding area of the hotel. Air conditioning! Which was a savior during this unbelievably scorching weekend To conclude: When you’re visiting Vienna, all you really need is a clean comfortable place to lay your head. You need to be out IN VIENNA, not in your room. With that said, the ruby marie is a perfectly fine hotel and I would have no regrets coming back"

"Absolutely wonderful experience. Highly recommend if you are looking for an extraordinary stay. Wonderfully located in the heart of the city and across from the Vienna Opera House. The staff was impeccable. We look forward to staying with them again."
