Chose this location to get a little further inland from Hurricane Ian. It's an older hotel, so some wear & tear is expected; it was in pretty good shape. I stayed in Room 250, one of the rooms that still has the carpet (some of the site pics show vinyl flooring, which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel), but it wasn't horrible. The shower could use a good dose of Tilex and the tub drainplug was screwed down, so not exactly sure how it was cleaned prior to my stay, but still, not too bad. The mattress had a double-zippered/double-layer mattress cover (assuming this was more of a deterrent than a cover-up as I saw nothing suspicious around the bed). I was on the outside end of the complex and while I could hear some of the outside noise, with the A/C and heater blowing, it wasn't bad at all. Overall, a decent stay for a decent price. Front desk and manager and housekeeping people were very nice!
