It was pretty good, although I could tell that they were trying to conserve energy out there in the Mojave Desert because the lobby isn't cool and you have to cool your room down when you get in (after a slow check-in, but they had some free lemonade, but they also had non-vegan candy made from slaughterhouse scraps.) Even though it was an oven outside, the pool was cold, which was jarring. I actually got cold from swimming even though it was so hot. I liked that there was a huge cactus outside my balcony. They could improve the free breakfast by making it all vegan non-GMO. That would be a better way to conserve energy. Non-vegan food is environmentally destructive, famine and drought inducing. I walked to the Dollar Tree to get some spring rolls to heat in the microwave. There was a strung out paranoid fool who started harassing me accusing me of following him, but I told him off. But inside the Dollar Tree there was a friendly guy who wanted to buy me a Snapple and pay for my spring rolls because he was trying to get cash back to give to the guy outside asking for change.
