"Great hotel, close to Hersonissos (small town with restaurants, bars, gift shops and nightlife). Staff are always happy to help and very welcoming and friendly. Buffet was really good, lots of options at breakfast, lunch and dinner, options for everyone even the fussier eaters. Would highly recommend"

"Everything about the resort was clean, classy, well maintained and felt luxurious. It is a long way from anything but the beach, although that beach is perfect and there are plenty of bars and reataurants along the coast. Getting to any sights or cities will require an expensive taxi or a car, but the hotel is so luxurious and relaxing you many not want to leave!"

"Lovely resort, incredibly family friendly. Kids club is great if child is over 3 years old. Very relaxing stay, only downside is beach is quite rocky compared to others visited in Crete, but you can always use the pool. "

"It is one of the most beautiful places we've had the great fortune to experience, and it is so beautiful that we didn't leave the resort during our entire 3-day stay. From start to finish, every detail was considered, and every need was taken care of. The team is welcoming and kind, and the location is absolutely stunning. While visiting with my partner (our kids left at home), we were keenly aware of how family-friendly the resort is, a pro for the many happy groups around us. If you plan to visit in May as we did, know the water will be fresh (!), and private pools might be too chilly to truly enjoy - though they'll still offer the perfect backdrop for some of the best photos you may ever take! "Amazing break at Stella Palace. Everything was super clean, and all the staff we encountered were courteous, happy and helpful. Food is great, but the main buffet restaurant is super busy and can be a little repetitive. Staff do try to make it as pleasant as can be. The option of the a la carte restaurants is a winner! Made the evenings less chaotic than the buffet and the food was lovely. Room clean and tidy, and bottles of water dropped off daily etc. Only thing, if you want to get out and about because the hotel is a little isolated car hire should be considered, because taxis are not cheap, they seem to be €50 each way to go anywhere, which can quickly add up….this is not a fault of the hotel, just something we would consider if we came again."

"We had a two week stay May2024 and I have to say, we had a fantastic stay. We arrived just before the beginning of the season and it was pretty dead to be honest which was really nice to spend the first few days to relax. We mainly stayed by the pool most days and was very well looked after by Claudia who is a real asset to the team. She’s relentless in making sure you are well looked after. My main frustration is the rule around the use of the sun mattresses (yes that’s not a typo) around the pool being €150 a day. That’s ridiculous and there were only 1 or 2 being used, mainly after a certain time in the afternoon when things start to wind down. Personally, this is the one thing that needs to change as that’s a silly price. The food and booze is excellent although on the expensive side, you do get what you pay for so make sure if you don’t have all inclusive, you bring some cash. Everything else was brilliant, all of the team at the front desk and buffet breakfast should get a massive shout out. If we ever had an issue, it was sorted pretty much immediately. The hotel is situated 10 minute walk from the main town and you will find some brilliant local tavernas around there to complement your stay. Enjoy!!"

"Excellent hotel, everything from rooms to food to staff was excellent. Drinks are also excellent and not the cheap stuff you usually get with all inclusives. Having the restaurants within the hotel is very convenient and the food there is also great. Added bonus of having a desert restaurant which stays open into the night. "
