Nice location, but terrible standard

The furnitures are worn down, stains on carpets and the bathroom was dirty. One og the three beds was broken. Very central location, but the standard of the room was terrible.

Excellent location closed to Geneva Lake! The facilities are pretty old. If you don't mind the cleanliness, then it is good option to visit Vevey and surrounding towns. We have two young children so cleanliness is the must. Not too much contact with staff so I gave average.

My holiday in Montreux and Vevey.

Went to Montreux to Freddie mercury celebration, thought it would be noisy there, so booked a hotel in vevey, not so many people and just as nice, the hotel room was just wot we wanted, we had a kitchen, So did most are own food, Which was a lot Cheaper, room lovely hot showers, nice cool room, not a lot of noise if you shut the windows at night , fridge, supermarket 5 min walk, bus outside hotel to get to different places, Montreux 20 min on bus , and cost 7 CHF return , Bus To Charlie Chaplin world , 6 CHF return beautiful, paddle boat trip , 5 min walk away, loads of cafe’ bars restaurants,Icecream 10 min walk Back huts, 4CHF , Cheap I thought, Hotel was on the edge of town, flat ground to walk, No Climbing Hills, 3 mins From Geneva Lake, beautiful scenery, French Alps, Across the lake, Towels were Changed nearly Every Day , But Didn’t Think This Was Needed, wasting towels That have To be Washed. 10 Min Walk Back To Train Station . Room was clean .

Dreadful

We only looked at previous reviews shortly before our stay and regretted our decision to book here but there was little else available at short notice and so we decided to go ahead. There is little to add to previous reviews except to say that the smell of Indian cooking pervades the whole hotel and as a result of the poor state of our room it did not tempt us to eat there. We think that hotels.com should not have this hotel in their listings.

Had bus stop right outside the door to get to the train station which was convenient. But we couldn’t open the window for air as it was too filthy and unkempt, with no screens to prevent filth from blowing in. The receptionist did provide us with a fan which gave us relief. But just looking out the window was revolting. The interior of the room needed tlc. It was clean, but we felt like we were staying in a third world hotel.

Overall it was a bad experience. Starting with the intense smell of mixtures of foods. The elevator was not working. The room was not at all what expected really bad smell overall. The bed was broken with s piece of wood holding the foot of it. The mattress was painfull to sleep on all the springs punctured your body. The pillows all degraded dirty and smelled really bad. The towels did not smell clean at all. The window was covered with a black plastic. Worst experience ever !!!!

Worst hotel experience of my life!

I was debating whether to book my stay at this hotel, as I was reading several bad reviews beforehand. However, since I knew that all I would need was a bed to sleep in, I believed that it could not be that bad, as I just wanted something cheap - therefore, I thought that it was worth it. However, already when arriving to the hotel, the check in area was very inconvenient and dirty. The hallways outside my hotel room smelled horrible, and I had to hold my breath every time!! The room itself was very dirty, and I felt uncomfortable touching anything. Overall, this is without doubt the worst experience I have ever had staying in a hotel. I would not recommend this place to ANYBODY!! Even, if you are looking for a cheap place to stay - this is not worth it anything. Only good thing is the location, which is very convenient - everything about the hotel is a catastrophe. Smell, cleaning, furniture - nothing is presentable in this place!

der Service an der Rezeption war freundlich und nett. das Zimmer war sauber, Leider waren die Möbel in die Jahre gekommen. Vielleicht sollte man mal hier renovieren . Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen und den zu Sightseeingwaren hervorragend.

Chambre tres bien propre largement suffisant pour une nuit. Beaucoup de bruit la nuit difficile de bien dormir, mais le point negatif sont les odeurs de cuisine du restaurant d'en dessous qui monte dans les chambres cest vraiment dĂ©sagrĂ©able obligĂ© de fermĂ© les fenĂȘtres en pleine Ă©tĂ© pas cool.

Rimelig, sentralt og helt ok

Vi var en familie pÄ 6 og det var god plass i toppleiligheten, men det var vegg til vegg tepper og renholdet der var sÄ som sÄ! Badet var rent, og sengene ok. Nytt/rent sengetÞy og hÄndduker. Hadde eget kjÞkken som ogsÄ kunne vÊrt bedre holdt vedlike, og begrenset med kopper og kar. Det ligger veldig sentralt i Vevey. De som leier ut driver ogsÄ en pakistansk restaurant i fÞrste etasje, sÄ det kan komme litt orientalske dufter svevende forbi i nÊromrÄdet. Om man ikke er sÄ nÞye pÄ renholdet, tolererer litt dufter og ikke vil betale for mye, sÄ er det helt ok

Séjour familial, accueil gentil et personnel à l'écoute. Par contre hygiÚne a revoir. Quand nous sommes rentrés en pleine nuit vers 1h30 du matin, croisé une énorme blatte dans le couloir. Au départ, personne, avons dû laisser les clefs dans la boßte aux lettres.
