I spoke to the person who was cleaning it and was told his company had taken over it few weeks before due to the last company not doing the job properly. Everything worked, the kitchen was well stocked with ALL the equipment. Free tea and coffee, shower gel, hand soap, washing machine soap, dishwasher etc etc. Enough space for you to leave food in fridge and freezer, cupboards. I wouldn't...

"Great place to stay for one or more days."

"I booked this stay last minute and immediately tried to cancel it but Bergen Guesthouse does not accept cancellations. The property is close to the city center, inexpensive and newly - in progress - renovated. However, the walls are paper thin, the rooms lack comfort (our window didn’t close properly, only a ceiling light, no bedside lights, the power outlets didn’t work properly, no TV, no mirror). One full bath and one out of order bathroom to share between 4 rooms on the level we stayed....

"Did not get the information/codes they promised, had to wait for a long time trying to call the hotel who did not respond. After many attempts a distant poorly English speaking person answered and eventually answered. When we got in, the apartment was barely cleaned. A lot of dust and hair. Really nasty to bring little children to a place like that. Very bad experience. "
