"We had a beautiful view of the beach and fjord from our clean and spacious room.
The beach was a few metres from the hotel. Lots of space on the beach. Lovely outdoor areas for sitting, both in front of the hotel and along the beach promenade. The water was shallow a long way out so perfect for families with small kids.
The breakfast was good, we ate both lunch and dinner at the hotel, which was also very good! It was also possible to get a take-away if you fancied eating by the beach....
"Nicht den "Telexrom" buchen. Da hängt die Außen Lüftung direkt am Zimmer und es ist laut. Ansonsten finde ich das Hotel Mega. Es hat Stil und Charme und tolle Zimmer."
"Some of the staff were lovely, others not so. The place was very old and unique with historic artifacts. The room was clean but very basic. The location was good right in town and half a block from the bus stop. Food was okay nothing special."
"The view over the water, islands and mountains is incredibly beautiful and not to be missed. The owners are very friendly and very accommodating. We had a special vegetarian lunch which was delicious and plentiful. The sauna with a view was so fun and relaxing. It is on the dock where you can jump in the water if you dare! It is cold and refreshing. It is worth the commute into Stavanger, about 30 minutes, to be on this peaceful and lovely island at this welcoming, homey place."
"Ich war nur eine Nacht da und da war alles super und ich hab richtig gut geschlafen. Richtig hilfreich war der Storage Room in dem ich meine Tasche lassen konnte bis Check-in. Dieser ist für Gäste kostenfrei 👍"
