The property itself is run down but quiet and comfortable if you don’t mind the general state of disrepair. The problem is that the owner seems content with the fact that nothing works. When we checked in, we were informed there was a problem with one of our two rooms - the electronic key card wasn’t working. Their solution? Call the son of the woman working the front desk to BREAK IN THROUGH THE BACK WINDOW. So this poor man shows up with a ladder and proceeds to… break into the wrong room. So then the poor couple in the room next to us is startled to have a man climbing through their bathroom window. Eventually, he gets into our room and unlocks it from the inside. However, then we STILL don’t have a key to the room. The front desk lady suggests we just leave the door propped open when we leave because “it’s a super safe neighborhood.” Bear in mind this is the same person who just asked her son to break in through the back. At no point did anyone think to offer us even a partial refund. To the extend they acknowledged anything was even problematic about the situation, they blamed everything on the owner, who apparently couldn’t be bothered. At one point, the front desk staff told me she might just walk off the job, and I wouldn’t blame her. I do believe the staff did the best they could, but this place isn’t equipped to provide basic standards of service. You should be able to provide a key with a door that locks, or make up to guests for the inconvenience.

Surprisingly quiet. Clean & comfortable. Close to a supermarket & closer to the beach with several eateries & a coffee/juice place nearby. I'd stay there again.

Room was worn out and in need of repairs. Room 212. Window taped shut, toilet rocked, no stoppers for sink or bath tub, cigarette burns on toilet seat, paint peeling on walls, bed a bit soft... etc. Pictures we took of these issues tell our experience Great location..

Our room had duct tape on the bathtub, paint peeling from the wall, wood glued to floor, broken lampshade, bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Hard to tell if it was dirty because half the lights didn’t work. Such a bummer.

The pictures and details about this MOTEL!! Not INN as stated and no Breakfast included just coffee and bagels! The room was very dirty even the cabinets didn’t have knobs they had screws to open them I’m very disappointed there was no shower it was a spa bath right next to the bed and had black like soap scum?

The list isn’t quite correct, I thought I booked the beach house, however when we got there it was a motel suite so the owner did told us that the Expedia had described incorrect information about the property. Please resolve this so other guest is t confused about the information given.

When I booked the property it said it had a rating of 12/10. I don’t mind an older property but the pictures show the hotel on the sand and very clean. The pictures are not accurate. The hotel is new to card keys and the keys didn’t work all the time. We had four rooms and had to get keys fixed everyday we were there. The staff is not always in the office so at one point we had to wait for the office manager to return to get our keys fixed and enter our room.

Great location but …
Great beach-friendly location with good restaurants within walking distance, but the room was not much. No closet. So-so beds. Small kitchen sink that drained very slowly. First morning continental breakfast wasn’t available for the first two hours or so of the advertised time, and no decaf was served. Staff were pleasant. Nearby neighbors argued loudly every evening. No cleaning service.

Didn’t even get a refund, didn’t end up staying here, walked in and within 15 minutes booked somewhere else. I was disgusted with the poor cleanliness, rundown, and overall unsettling experience.

Close to my relatives, hence our choice. Property is quite old and in need of some easy repairs. Don't know about big repairs (roof, paint, etc.). Compared to other, nearby options, this was our choice mainly due to price and proximity - we did not plan to spend much time there except for sleeping. Bed (king) was comfortable and clean. Being old, it lacks a lot of 110v plugs or any USB ports, but we managed with what we brought. Office staff were helpful, but not well prepared to deal with hobos or other types of miscreants, including guests. The worst ones left, and our remaining nights were quiet and comfortable.

The person at the front desk was having problems with the computer. So she let us in our rooms. And then we received our keys. Then the sign on the wall said the breakfast was served at 7:30, so it wasn’t opened until after we had to check out. So later in the day we went back to make sure we had been checked out fine. Just a lot more about this place than what we have had to deal with. Plus we was being charge for boo rooms a fee almost as much as I paid for the rooms.

Started off with issues checking in, which wasn't a huge deal, but the lady couldn't assign the room keys and was not very professional. I was given the room next to the office, and you could hear everything through the wall (phone calls, conversations, etc). The room had a spa tub, and it had little black hairs all over the bottom of the tub, so we didn't even touch it. It was also the shower so we weren't able to shower. I'm not sure what was above our room, but it sounded like there were 10 people doing jumping jacks all night. It is overpriced for what it is, and I would never stay there again.

We arrived at 7:30 pm and were told we had to wait 20 minutes because our room had not been cleaned. Then they offered us an upgrade to a room on the beach, but it also had to be cleaned. We waited for the bottom floor of a 2 story cottage on the beach to be cleaned. Once we got in, the place reeked of cleaner and we were told we would get clean towels in a few minutes. That took over an hour to get a couple of very small towels. This place had a great view being right on the beach, but was not clean at all. Would be a great cottage for a couple of families if they would clean it. Also, bring your own towels. Not sure if we would stay there again

The property and rooms were clean and the jacuzzi was great after a long drive. i requested a 1 hr late checkout because I was held up at a doctors appointment. The boy at the desk said I would have to pay for another night and my wife had to wait outside for me with our luggage. I have never had this motel experience before and feel it was poor customer appreciation and service.

The place is old & run down. Both beds were saggy & difficult to sleep on. I haven't seen such a run down hotel in the many years of travel. Only redeeming feature is near the beach within short walk away. This will be my 1st & last stay here.

Don’t book here. Pictures are deceiving. Old outdated. Only one electric outlet worked. No heat or air conditioning. Extra fees charged for nothing. Tub has moldy jacuzzi vents. Extension cords on floor. Staff would not give enough towels for us. Sheets had stains. Free breakfast set up on 1 by 4 foot table. No eating area. No beach view.

if you want to book the beach view then pay for that room and get the beach view. don't write a ridiculous review because you booked the room with no ocean view. and yes there is a price difference!!!
