This was a lovely property conveniently situated. The staff could not have been more kind or helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and always done with a smile. A lovely breakfast buffet and an excellent bar in the evening where a nightcap could be taken by yet another excellent member of staff. Would stay here again if returning to Venice and would highly recommend.

An excellent property that is fresh and new. All of the staff were friendly and quick to support any request. The room was spacious and modern, and very quiet. This did work against it however as any footsteps or voices in the halls were very clear. That aside, the hotel was perfect. The location is also close to some reasonable bars and restaurants as it is outside of the tourist hot spots. Spritz can be had for as little as 3€ per glass.

A wonderful,special little gem
A beautiful hotel positioned in a great part of Venice tucked away from the crowded areas yet all within a 10 minute walk. The staff were so polite, informative and attentive I couldn’t have wished for more. I’d certainly recommend this hotel and will stay there again. Breakfast the rooms and the public areas of the hotel are wonderful. Venice is a special place, this hotel compliments it. Thankyou

Very nice hotel and very helpful staff. We stayed for 5 nights and it was conveniently located near the train station, in a quiet / more neighborhood area, and the staff had excellent restaurant recommendations for dinner

Beautiful and affordable
This hotel was perfect from start to finish. The staff was friendly attentive and made our stay better because of this. The hotel is centrally located every room is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was included and delicious. Would stay here again

All the staff were excellent and helpful. The private water taxi to the airport was the icing on the cake! And off the beaten path meant that we weren’t staying in the midst of Venice chaos.

The front desk staff was very kind. Helped us with all we needed. The cleaning staff kept the room clean and full of free mini bar snacks and drinks. The only things we did not like were the shower floor. It was very slippery in the shower. I actually slipped and bruised my foot on side of shower pan. The second thing was the staff storage in the halls. Early mornings are a busy time in hotels and we understand that things were stored in the common areas of the halls. So early in the morning we were awakened by the doors slamming in the halls. At night you can hear the people having a great time outside on the street. So ask for interior room if you need quiet. Beautiful room and wonderful staff.

We had a nice room for 2 nights at Santa Croce Boutique Hotel in Venice. The hotel staff was friendly, and Ricardo was particularly helpful. It's a bit on the outskirts, so a bit of walk, but also quieter and more peaceful than the hotels more in the thick of things. Best hotel breakfast in Italy

Too much to do in two days,
With the exception of finding the place, pretty much everything else was awesome. We used Apple Maps and the update rate didn’t allow for the narrow streets. And, it didn’t take us to the hotel. Obviously, not the hotels fault. We were disappointed the hotel didn’t offer better dining options. Federico, the guy at the desk, went out of his way to take us to a very nice restaurant, Federico also arranged a private boat ride through the Grand Canal. 160 Euro and worth every penny. Would we go back? Definitely.

The Santa Croce hotel is located in the district of Santa Croce, a short walk from the hustle and bustle of San Marco Square. The area has a neighborhood feel and is very safe and quiet. The hotel has a beautiful garden area. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and extremely comfortable. Each morning a fantastic breakfast was served.

Lovely boutique hotel within walking distance to many places. Quick walk to water taxi’s, gondolas and many restaurants. If your coming off the train spend the money on a people mover to take you and luggage over the bridge. Hotel also has a really nice breakfast and courtyard for nightcaps.

Absolutely wonderful hotel!
Superb! Everything was fantastic. Beautiful room, great location, fantastic staff. Great breakfast, lovely patio bar at night. Staff was so helpful with directions, restaurant suggestions and special thanks to Frederico and Ricardo for help communicating with airlines concerning our lost luggage. When we return to Venice, we will not even search for another hotel. This will be where we stay.

Santa Croce Boutique Hotel
This hotel was beautiful and great location. and had a wonderful complimentary breakfast ! The ladies working were wonderful! But what impressed me most was Frederico that worked there that went over and above to make our travel arrangements to get to the airport. The film festival was going on so it made it very difficult but he made it happen ! He also gave recommendations on things to do while we were in town .The morning we left Ricardo helped us and he was also very helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again ! Thank you !

This was possibly the nicest experience I’ve had in a hotel ever. The service was perfect. The rooms were very nice and clean. And the price point was excellent for its offerings. I highly recommend booking this hotel. Melania at the front seat was really nice and extraordinarily helpful. The breakfast was quite good and everyone was polite and delightful. I can’t say enough good about this place. 6 stars! Book it here!!

Beautiful place to stay. Super nice and up to date amenities. Nice and clean rooms. Courtyard is elegant, surrounded by flowers, nice place to sip a wine at night. Included breakfast was fresh and tasty. Staff was great…. Until it comes to actual helping point. I ordered flowers for my wife’s birthday, just to find out @ 11:30pm, they couldn’t fulfill my order ;(. I asked why nobody called me during the day - the reply was “we are very sorry”. When we checked in, they specifically asked us when and how are we going back. We told them that we are taking train to Rome and flying out from there. The day of our departure, Italian railway workers decided to go on strike ;(…. Front desk knew about the strike at 2pm…. We were informed around 11pm and we had a train departure next morning. We asked to help us to re-do our train tickets and once again not much help ;(

An absolute hidden gem! So close to the train station and in a quiet neighborhood farther away from all the hustle and bustle near St Marks. The staff is amazing and the service is impeccable. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. The suite is A . Spacious, clean and luxurious.

Santa Croce Boutique Hotel exceeded our expectations, the staff was so polite and kind and we would like to send special thanks to Marco (who was like a tour guide and provided his best recommendations every single time he was on shift). Everyone in the hotel was extremely helpful! The hotel is located few minutes walking distance from the train station and it is very convenient in terms of taking the vaporetto and water busses. The rooms and the hotel in general are very clean and we would definitely stay there again (next time we visit Venice)! Highly recommended!

Fabulous & walkable to train station
Fabulous boutique hotel within walking distance of train station. We stayed in the suite and it was so luxurious! Breakfast was fabulous. Loved the courtyard as well. Would recommend 10/10!

Best hotel in Venice!
Welcoming & beauty everywhere. This hotel and the staff are friendly & professional. Hotel is gorgeous. Venice is a dream. Can’t say enough about the hospitality. The pizza right outside the hotel caddy corner of the glass bead store is perfection. Not the one on the end or down the alley. The gondola ride is a must & so worth the money at sunset.

My wife and I stopped in Venice on our honeymoon and we both loved this hotel. Everyone was so nice and helpful. From the moment we walked in to check in to the moment we left, everyone seemed they genuinely wanted to help with anything they could. We enjoyed the food they offered for dinner and the service. So much so, we had dinner twice there. They also offered to make any reservations we wanted at any restaurant but we didn't take advantage of that. They helped with any questions we had regarding things to see in Venice. We needed to go to the airport once we checked out and they booked us a private boat direct to the airport which was a fun experience and very convenient. The location was ideal for us. Some may want to be closer to the Rialto bridge and shopping (it was about a 15 min walk) but we didn't want to deal with noise etc. It was also close to the train station. We would like to visit Venice again and I can confidently say, we will come back. I wish I could recall everyone's name that helped us so that I could name them individually. Stay here if you want a great stay.
