First off I'll start by saying at check in there was a problem with payment. The guy at reception was incredibly rude and put us on edge when we went to find our room.
We couldn't manage to open the door at first, it seemed faulty but neither of us fancied another rude encounter so we forced it open. The place itself had a leak in the bathroom so the floor was wet, there were splattered flies on the walls, the windows were filthy and the room felt damp.
We left to explore Venice, the camping itself is perfectly located. Really close to a 10/15 minute bus into Venice that runs quite late!
The floor was wet when we got back but we put this down to heavy rain and mopped it up with some toilet tissue.
After our 2 nights stay and the floor constantly being wet, we worked out that the toilet seemed to be leaking.
When it came to checkout we were dreading speaking to the staff so we went in confident and prepared to speak to them about the payment issues we were having with Expedia, our UK cards. The woman was so rude and unhelpful. We asked if we could use their phone to call Expedia and resolve the issue. She didn't care to help AT ALL and said no. Turned her back to us and started working on her computer. We ended up facing large roaming charges on hold, and still having to cough up MORE cash because we couldn't get through. The worst service we faced on our entire trip! Absolutely disgraceful place dont waste your cash here, there are better places to stay in the area.
