Excellent stay. We were directed by a sign on the door to check in 50 meters down the road at Maggie Consiglio, which is really where we stayed. It was only a little confusing. It was hard to control the heat and we had to open window to lower temperature.

This hotel has a great location, close to the train station. It was quiet, nice size, charming decor and great breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

A comfortable hotel, very convenient location
A good stay. Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly service. Convenient location for S. Lucia station. Check in was a little confusing because the hotel is actually across the alley and down from the signed entrance. Breakfast was very mediocre (eggs and bacon were cold my first morning), but there were other options. My only real caution would be to time your shower. When showering at 8:30am the water pressure dropped to barely a trickle, and got cold. I assume because many people were showering. Wasnt an issue the first morning at 7:30am.

The hotel is very conveniently located next to the Vatican museum, staffs are all friendly and helpful. The only issue we experienced is the air-con noise, although we turned it off the whole night.

Loved it!
Such a great location! Less than 5 min walk from train station. The staff was so incredibly helpful - they helped answer silly tourist questions and even packed me a to go breakfast since my train was too early to make “standard” breakfast. Room was comfortable and although I could hear neighbors they were very respectful and quiet.

The room was adequately comfortable. The bed was cozy and had a good level of cleanliness. The breakfast was diverse and had a variety of pastries, juices, and cereals to suit different preferences. The hotel was just a stone's throw away from the central station, which made it extra convenient when entering and leaving Venice.

We had a great experience staying at the hotel. Very close to the train station and bus stop and water taxi. The only negative thing i can say is the room was few floors up and we had to drag our bags up. Also the room was a bit cold and the heat wasn’t wroking properly.

Very quaint, also old fashioned - which was ok. Very conveniently positioned for the trains (you could NOT hear them). Convenient for all the highlights of Venice. Clean rooms, although creaky floors 😊 No reception on the premises, check-in was at the hotel across the alleyway. Breakfast was fine but basic in a "compact' room.

Charming but could do better
Down a quiet alley but close to train station so very convenient for busses, taxis and trains. Biggest issue was bathroom. Lots of mold at shower seams and toilet so close to shower that if you are over 5’5, your knees hit the shower door

We had such an incredible stay. Upon booking we were asked if we needed transport from the airport. They coordinated that for us. Norman welcomed us and gave us a tour of the property, a map of the city and told us about breakfast. Our room looked amazing and the breakfast and cappuccinos in the morning were delicious. We were pretty close to all the sites and had a variety of places to eat. We were catching a cruise and Norman scheduled transport to the port as well. This was such an incredible experience. My first time in Europe and Rome. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Shower is either water too hot or too cold. The dryer is the antique one that installed on the wall with a tube to blow dry the hair. No elevator and we had to carry our big luggages to 3rd floor. When we asked for help to bring our luggages up to the room, we have been told no such service. I do not recommend this hotel. Pricey but hotel is old and bad customer service.

The reception is open 24 hours a day and available for any need, all you had to do was call number 9 from your room and we would have gladly brought you a new hairdryer.Furthermore, during the check-in procedures we always accompany customers to the structure and ask them if they need assistance with their luggage precisely because the hotel is in a historic 2-storey building without a lift.We thank you for your opinion

This is the second time staying at this hotel. The location is the prime reason for our stay though the staff is exceptional. We typically visit Venice by train and the station is one block away. The hotel facilities are fine and comfortable. The one negative is there is no elevator so anyone with a disability or can not climb stairs need to look elsewhere
