Great manager,friendly staff, efficient service!
The hotel lived up to its 3 stars. Rooms are spacious and clean.
I'll start with the cons:
We stayed 3 nights and our rooms were not cleaned once during our stay. Towels could be exchanged for fresh ones at the spa reception.
The food in the restaurant was ok but there is a lot to be wanted if they want to cater for international guests.
Lunch was really good, dinner was sufficient- mainly Bulgarian traditional dishes. Dont expect anything international or exciting but the food was tasty and the staff does care- they ask for feedback and make sure nobody leaves the restaurant hungry.
I have to say that the biggest assest of the hotel are the people who work there. The staff were absolutely amazing, without exception. The manager- Darina Shatova goes out of her way to make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone is happy. She asked on many occasions if all was ok and if we needed anything else.
We chose the hotel because of the water park attached to it. In all fairness, we were informed by the reception that the park is open to public at the time we made the booking. It was fun, both kids and adults loved it. And it gets really crowded. There are plenty of pool chairs though.
However the waterpark visitors easily enter the hotel grounds and use the hotel facilities. This is an issue and needs attention. We were told it's not isolated to Elbrus but a problem for many of the local hotels.
Overall- we had a very enjoyable weekend.THANK YOU!
