"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. Top Veintisiete de Abril Hotel Reviews

Hotel Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"A quiet place to stay if Tamarindo is your cup of tea. We decided not to go back to Tamarindo again, since there is nothing to do and restaurant prices are insane. The country must be hurting because they have restaurants stick it to you thorough all sorts of funny charges."

Hotel Villa del Sueño

10/10 Excellent

"Very cute and cozy hotel, 5 minutes walk to playa hermosa so it was perfect. AND 1 hour drive to Playa Conchal, a MUST go see it’s BEAUTIFUL. The free breakfast was amazing, only 5 options (but it includes a lot of food) but very delicious. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again for a very relax stay and quick drive to airport"

The Coast Beachfront Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in one of the small bungalows facing the beach and the view was amazing. The unit itself was reasonably large and generally comfortable. By us hotel standards, I'm comfortable saying this is a solid three and a half and potentially four Star resort. The quibbles are minor, a couple of bent corners on screens. A little adjustment needed to the shower water temperature faucet. The advantages are great. Thelocation is wonderful, both for walking on the beach and walking into town. I would recommend this place and we'll stay there again"
