"This is a large, traditional hotel in the center of the city, within easy walking distance of the railroad station and the cathedral. The Småland museum and House of Emigrants are also within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel was two restaurants, one is Japanese and the other, the Bishops Arms, is more like an English pub. It was very crowded and noisy, when we went there for dinner, and the order-at-the-bar service was not the best....

"We contacted the hotel for late check-in (after 7 pm) and were informed that they would reach out with instructions. Unfortunately, we were not contacted, and we were locked outside when we arrived at the hotel. Thankfully, someone working in the restaurant let us in and called someone to figure out how we could access our keys. The breakfast was good in the morning and thank goodness for the restaurant staff."
