"I had a very disappointing experience from check-in to check-out. I arrived only about a 1.5 hour before the official check-in time (3 PM), and it was very clear that my room—and others—were already ready since the hotel was not busy at all. I was extremely tired and politely asked the receptionist if I could check in a bit early, but she refused. "I love staying at Sheridan. I had a little problem understanding the lady at front desk and I had to pay for water for 3 dollars and change that I did not know was not free water. I also ended up paying 285 for my stay and gave them an additional 250 as security. They sent someone to check the room before I left before giving me back my security deposit. Not sure I would stay there again but I would not say don't go there. Otherwise it is a lovely place in terms of decor "

"Great choice for a short stay! The location is perfect, just a few minutes' drive from Highway 7 and its endless variety of great Chinese restaurants and dim sum. The hotel interior is clean, and the free outdoor parking is very convenient. My only minor issue was the sofa bed springs, which were a bit noisy when turning over at night. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto for the food scene!"
