"A beautiful hotel with so much history. The rooms are renovated but still have so much of the original feel. Shower is great. The owner is so lovely and took the time to be so welcoming and help us figure out the city. The outdoor door is the only challenge. We should have asked for two keys. "

"Beautiful monastery restored! Lovely breakfast included, great bar and restaurant, and lovely to eat and sip in the courtyard. I wasn’t aware when I booked it that it was at the top of the hill… hard to determine on a two-dimensional map! But what a treat to discover it! Easy 5 min walk to the Roman amphitheater, and another 5 min to the Basilica and the funicular to take you down to the old, lively city center. It was very hot while we were there and the A/C (like many European hotels) was not...

"We enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Adagio. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, and the location was okay for what we had planned. We had two rooms and were able to use the breakfast area in the evening to eat a meal together that we had prepared in one of our kitchens. The reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because we had to carry our heavy luggage up a flight of stairs from the parking garage (which was not free).
