"Rooms are extremely run down. The pool area was okay but my swimsuit was ruined from the chemicals. I showed it to the staff but they did not want to take responsibility. Dogs are allowed, so watch where you step. Breakfast was just mediocre. I will not stay here again. Oak Island and Southport are amazing! "

"Broken elevator our room was on the 3rd floor with 2 queens when we were supposed to have a king. We stayed one night because it was after 9:30 and the next morning we checked out and moved to a Comfort Inn down the highway "

"Really great stay. Great location. Clean and great staff!! The exhaust fan in our room 217 Tahiti needs replacing it is so so loud and mold/mildew is present. The coffee in the lobby near check in was out of commission part of our trip when my daughter went to get coffee Friday morning. View was great! Only one pkg of coffee for our room with 4 people staying. "

"This is an excellent place. Clean and very accommodating. Close to shops and restaurants yet quiet. Spacious rooms and wonderful private baths. Pleasant sitting rooms and friendly hosts. All of our needs were met even nice selection of beer,wine, snacks and merchandise. "

"This is our 2nd time staying here and there were noticeable improvements like the new gate to the pool and new wooden fencing. The only issue was the mattress in our room. It was lumpy, squeaky and the bottom sheet kept coming off. Not a deal breaker, just start replacing your mattress. "

"The stuff I met were really nice. The access to the beach is unparalleled. The room could use a full length mirror, headboards, and there was no dish soap to wash dishes by hand. I did see a couple small bugs in the bathroom, but otherwise clean."

"Very nice accommodations, clean & comfortable! There were No signs of pets or smoking. I'm allergic to both animals & smoke. Sometimes these rentals state pet free/smoke free but then are clearly Not!! But as I said No signs of either here! All the essentials was there. Very nice clean rental. Highly recommend!! Thank You for an Awesome stay. : )"

"The room and bathroom were very small, the toilet itself rocked so it was loose on the floor , the handle on the coffee machine kept coming off so you had to use 2 hands to close it , the staff was dismissive and rude. "
