Upon realizing my mistake upon arrival in Athens, I contacted the receptionist, who promptly arranged for the express mailing of my passport to my hotel in Athens the following day. "This place is a bit wonky--family-owned and operated, old-fashioned facility. Do you like having a garden with cats and a room with character but perhaps not all the amenities? You'll like this. The location, beach-wise, was great. My two adult kids stayed in this room. It took them a while to figure out how some things worked. But the price was right, the owner/operator was delightful, and they ended up very happy with it."
