"We always enjoy this property, it has a fabulous location with breathtaking views of the beach, the facility is well managed and kept clean and well groomed. My only downside is that I’m not keen on the in-room espresso machine and wish they had a the Keurig style. The good news is they always have coffee available in the lobby."

"Blackbear Guesthouse has lots of comfort and stylish character. I was a solo traveler without a car but was able to take advantage of a seasonal bus service along the Pacific Rim Highway between Tofino and Ucluelet to get into both towns. The hospitable owners were also happy to give me a lift to Tofino if our journeys coincided. I used Pacific Rim Navigators to get a return trip from Long Beach Airport to the Guesthouse, which is not too far from the airport."

"We stayed in the lodge which was well equipped. Coffee, tea, bathrobes , slippers, magnifying mirror, raincoats, umbrellas. Thankfully we didn’t need the coats or umbrellas!"
