"Unfortunately it was a terrible stay. It took 5 phone calls to get into the apartment. We were not sent any instructions. The building is a work site with builders sawing and hammering at 11.00pm. The building is full of smoke, despite there being signs on the wall saying it is a smoke free venue. The pillows, towels and bedding stinks of cigarette smoke. We both woke up sick with headaches as the smoke came under the door at night. My sleep apnea machine is now ruined as it is now...

"Thessaloniki's Modernist is a delightful Parisian-style early 1920's building in a superb location (cross-street "Aristotle Square", 5-10 min walk to waterfront promenade). "Relaxing Experience, the staff are very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is near enough in the airport which add on the points. The bar and restaurant food is also very good with reasonable price. The swimming pool is one of the highlight of our stay. The sunset and the view is amazing.... We will definitely going back in this hotel on our next trip to Thessaloniki. "
