The staff were absolutely lovely, but we had mixed feelings about our stay. While we booked a normal room through Expedia, but when we arrived, we were told that the room was "operated like a private rental". This was confusing and not advertised on the listing on Expedia. The hotel lobby was beautiful, the rooms could use some repairs.

Robbed in ritzy hotel.

We were not guests of hotel but thru airbnb so hotel offered us none of their usual amenities. Food in their restaurant way overpriced and totally inedible (pate tasted like vomit)!

The positives: Location, Hotel suite owner was very polite and attentive, asked what chocolate we liked and coffee which was provided. Room was clean. Self locking combination door code was provided by text on day of occupation. The Negatives: Hotel desk representative was not to friendly and refused to provide assistance when requesting to leave bags (she said that room we booked was not part of hotel - eventually hotel suite owner arrived and helped with temporary bag storage situation until room was ready). The room is dated i.e. black tape used as trim in bathroom sink counter, different coulors for trim moulding in bedroom. Note Expedia site mentioned pre booking info was required at least 24 Hrs before arrival via secure link that was to be provided (this link and info was not provide or required - Expedia should update as that caused unnecessary confusion.)

An extreme disappointment at a high cost. It was a surprise to find that the "suite" is a private venture and not under the auspices of Le Soleil Hotel. There was no housekeeping, the furniture was old and dilapidated and highly uncomfortable. The general decoration was rundown and in great need of a refurbishment. The balcony was unusable with no furnishings to make it welcoming. This ad is highly misleading.

This listing appears to be a reservation for a room at the Hotel Le Soleil. Instead, it is a reservation for a private room owned by an individual at the Hotel Le Soleil. The person was very kind and accomodating. However, the accomodations were very lacking. Threadbare sheets on an old uncomfortable mattress. A light fixture detached and hanging from the ceiling. Balls of dust in the corners and mold in the shower. Old, worn, stained furniture, carpeting and curtains. Black dirt on the ceiling above ac units. The unit is dingy and needs to be painted. It is very misleading that it appears that you are booking a room in the hotel, run by the hotel. Instead you are booking a private room managed by an individual. And the room is NOT up to hotel standards of cleanliness and appearance. Again the person was very kind, but this suite is NOT a room run by the hotel. I would not stay in this suite again. I would stay in the hotel again, in a regular room run by the hotel.

Die Unterkunft gehört nicht zum Hotel Le Soleil und nutzt fälschlicherweise den Namen des Hotels. Das Zimmer wird von einer privaten Person vermietet und hat keinen 4-Sterne Standard. Das Zimmer ist alt und dreckig. Unser Bett war voll mit Haaren anderer Gäste, die Handtücher waren dreckig. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer war alt und kaputt. Die Rezeption im Hotel ist nicht zuständig und hilft auch nicht beim Check in. Ebenso konnten wir auch nach Check out nicht unser Gepäck im Hotel lassen.
