"Beautifully maintained old palazzo in a good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Valletta is quite small and thus incredibly walkable. Nothing is more than a few minutes away. Would stay again. If accessibility is a concern, the Layla penthouse may not be the best choice as there are a few stairs particularly between the two terraces and down to the bathroom (which does not have a door so that may not suit everyone). It does face the street where there are bars/restaurants that stay open...

A message sent us offered to organize the transfer to and from the property, but our message accepting that offer was ignored. "Our stay in delightful Valletta was made all the better due to our stay at La Falconeria. Everything was great - comfortable rooms, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff and marvellous breakfasts. It's proximity to the main street of the city, places of interest, harbours and bus station (Malta has a fine bus service!) was a bonus. All this and very quiet at night too! Couldn't fault the hotel (and that's unusual for me!) Highly recommended the Falconeria!"
