"This is by far the best value-for-money hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is very professional, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The location is perhaps one of the best in Santiago. It is located in a quiet and safe street, surrounded by restaurants and stores.
If you ever stayed at The Chandler Hotel in NYC, the Capital Bellet Hotel exceeds it in value by miles. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Santiago."

"I paid extra for a "sea view" room and was given a room with a tiny partial view. Turns out the hotel does not have sea view rooms at all, because they are not ocean front - there is a building in-between. They are working to fix the advertising to reflect reality, as I was told. Our room also had a large hair ball in the bathroom at check in and the mirror had large rust stains on them. When the front desk was notified, they said they would fix the mirror and the cleaning for us while we went to diner. However, after dinner the hairball was still in the bathroom and the mirrors were not fixed/changed/cleaned. The next day the manager contacted me and apologized. Offered a 15% discount and free breakfast during our stay. Upon check out, the 15% discount was only applied to 1 night and the extra night we had to extend due to family reasons was offered at an even higher rate than originally offered. Overall, the quality level of the rooms is mediocre with very noise rooms. You can hear doors slamming and you can hear people going thru the trash bins outside to collect bottles. "
