We actually check out of this room after one night. The staff is amazing and friendly, however the rooms are so minimalistic that they feel like a prison cell (it actually depressed me waking up there). Dark, grey with only stiff chairs to sit in. It is just a style I can't appreciate but I can image others might love. Also the bed was really low (below my knees in height) and also wasn't inviting to lounge around in. The staff tried to accommodate with another room but there was really nothing available that was appropriate (stairs in the room without banisters) or didn't cost another 200 euros per night. Also I felt the area was sketchy for two women alone at night. Either way you travel to the hotel you need to go down a poorly lit, quiet street. It didn't feel safe. However this means the hotel is in a really quiet area. Also, I really love to have a coffee/tea station in my room. Here they deliver it to your room at no cost but I am not going to order more then once. While if it were in the room I would have 2 cups of coffee in the morning and a couple of cups of tea in the evening. The rooms were very clean. Again, I feel like I didn't research the hotel enough and let myself be swayed by the high ratings but it was far to austere for my liking.
