"The B&B is not far from the train station and within walking distance to the major sights in the city center. When we arrived at the B&B, no one was there to let us in (why I generally prefer a hotel to a B&B), but it was only a minute or two before our host arrived. There is no elevator but she helped us lug our bags up the flight of steps to our room. The room was simple but clean and spacious. Although I was told they don't generally use AC in October, it was HOT this day and the AC worked...

"When I arrived, my kids immediately saw rides and a pool. I was immediately told by brother of the host that this area is private. It is literally the same building, same garden, same premises. Why is the “private” area for brother not separate. It’s like living in the hotel. How are the guests supposed to know. "Wonderful bed and breakfast in the grounds of the 11th century castle in the heart of old Vittorio Veneto, aka Serravalle. The location and surroundings alone are worth it. My suite was comfortable, cozy and well-equipped. Friendly and accomodating family staff. Lovely wine bar on site too and close to other good restaurants in the town. The only downside is the steep hill you have to walk to get to it from the old town square, but it's worth it!"
